Congratulations to all participants and medallists at the Canada Games in Bathurst, NB! It was a great event. FCA wishes to thank the volunteers who made the event run so smoothly: Paul Hicks, Bernie LeBlanc, Phil Parlee, Charles Nickerson, the great crew and the judges.

5. Women's Outdoor Weekend (uniquement en
anglais)
Good Afternoon Everyone,
Plans are in the works for the 3rd annual Women's Outdoor Weekend at Gordon's Park on Manitoulin Island. It will be held Jun 20 - 22, 2003 so mark these dates off on your calendar. If any of you have a particular interest in a workshop you would like us to include please send it to me at or call 705-859-2470.
Confirmed activities to date include woodchip carving, guided nature hikes, camping, nature craft, night programs, orienteering, archery, campfire socials, stone soup luncheon, mini putt challenge & of course full course entrees by our fantastic chef, Tammy Albers. Bed & Breakfast, secluded cabin & tipi tenting are also available for those not wanting alternative accommodations.
Gordon's Park has expanded their operations & will have an outdoor solar heated swimming pool in operation at that time too. The cost for the weekend is $150.00 & GST per person & includes camping, meals & all workshop activities & supplies.
If you have any questions or are interested in volunteering to lead a workshop please feel free to contact us.

The By-Laws changed by Council will be published next week, which means they come into force. The By-Law was used in Nîmes, FRA (indoor world championship) under the authority of Rule 1.7.3.
There will be only one Judge call on an arrow and that decision is final.
BYLAWS and COUNCIL Minutes will be published next week by e-mail, web and ordinary mail.

7. Changement des Règlements de la FITA
Les arrêtes municipaux de la FITA qui ont été changés par le conseil, seront disponsibles la semaine prochaine, et sont en force. Ce arrête municipal a été utilisé à Nîmes, FRA (championnat mondial de tir en salle) par règlement 1.7.3.
Maintenant, il y a seulement un appel des juges conçernant la valeur d'une flèche et cette décision est finale.
Les arrêtes municipaux ainsi que les proces-verbaux de la FITA seront disponibles la semaine prochaine par courriel, le site web et par la poste ordinaire.
