Il me fait plaisir de vous annoncer que Marie-Pier Beaudet a été nommée athlète féminine du Québec niveau canadien pour l'année 2002 lors du gala Sports-Québec tenu le 19 décembre au palais des congrès de Montréal devant près de 1000 personnes. C'est la deuxième fois en 30 ans qu'un archer est honoré par le gala
Sports-Québec la première étant Lucille Lessard en 1974.

It is my pleasure to announce you that Marie-Pier Beaudet was nominated women athlete at Canadian level in Quebec province for 2002 during Sports-Quebec gala held December 19th at Montreal congress hotel where around 1000 peoples were attending. This is the second time in 30 years that an archer is honored by Sports-Quebec gala. The first one was Lucille Lessard in 1974.

sport community through its distribution of information and news

Note that effective with the current Indoor season, there are changes to the FCA target size and scoring. Some divisions using compound bows now score the OUTER TEN. In particular all Bowhunter divisions score outer ten. Also, Cubs, Pre-cubs and Peewees score outer ten. See the chart below.

The annual Nike/CAAWS Girls@Play Youth Achievement Award will be presented at the 2003 Canadian Sport Awards on March 25, 2003 in Toronto. This award is presented to an outstanding female who has taken an active role in encouraging more girls and women to participate in sport and physical activity.
This award is open to all girls and young women who reside in Canada and are 18 years or younger as of December 31, 2002.
Deadline: The deadline for submissions is January 17, 2002 at 4pm EST.

Le Prix annuel réalisation jeunesse Filles@jeu Nike/ACAFS sera décerné dans le cadre du Prix sportif canadien, qui aura lieu le 25 mars 2003 à Toronto, à une femme ou une fille exceptionnelle qui a contribué activement à encourager un plus grand nombre de filles et de femmes à faire du sport et de l'activité physique.
