C'est avec regret que je viens vous annoncer le décès de Paul Roy. Il est décédé à la l'hopital dans la nuit de mercredi à jeudi.

Les obsèques auront lieu à:

Samedi le 17 novembre a 14:00 hres

Les condoleances pourront être faites à la famille à l'église une heure avant la cérémonie (soit à partir de 13:00).

Hi everyone;

It is with much regret that I must inform you of the passing of one of our fellow archers: Paul Roy. Paul died during the night of November 7-8.

The funeral service will be held at:

Saturday November 17^th at 14:00 hrs.

Condolences can be transmitted to the family one-hour prior to the religious service.

Please pass my condolences on to Paul's family and friends. I am saddened to hear of such news.

I remember walking the competition fields (internationally and nationally) with Paul Roy. We always had fun trying to communicate using our own language, known as "Frenglish", which made jokes even funnier than they were in their original language. Paul will be missed, but remembered.

During the past few months, we on the FCA coaching committee have been working on a new competence based education training system (CBET) and participant development model program (PDM). At this time we would like to invite you to look at our work and offer any input/insight that you may have in this area. The base work has been laid, but we would like the input of our coaches and athlete’s to ensure that this is going in the right direction.

I would invite to you to look over the background for the project at the FCA homepage, and to leave your comments there as well as on our PDM discussion forum at

Your input will help us to develop a truly archery specific PDM.

Depuis quelques mois, le comité des entraîneurs de la FCA se penche sur un nouveau système Éducation et formation axées sur les compétences (l'EFAC) ainsi que sur le programme Modèle de développement des participants et des participantes (MDP).

Dans un premier temps, nous vous invitons à vous familiariser avec ces ébauches et nous offrir vos commentaires et/ou conseils dans ce domaine. L’idée de base est lancée mais nous aimerions l’avis de nos entraîneurs et athlètes afin de s’assurer que nous allons dans la bonne direction.
