3. Batalla de Carabobo (La version française suit)

The Batalla de Carabobo tournament will be held this year in Valencia City in Colombia, South America June 30th to July 7th. This event is one of four World Ranking events that will be held in The Americas in 2001. World Ranking events are used to earn points for placing on the FITA's world ranking list.

Canadian archers are invited to enter this tournament. The entry fee is $60 US with hotel prices in a range from $30 US per day at the Olympic Center to $80 US per night (double) in a four-star hotel. If you fly to Maiquetia (the Simon Bolivar airport) transportation to Valencia City is also available for $60.

There will be divisions for men and women in senior, junior and cadet age categories. FITA equipment divisions will be used, that is recurve and compound. The tournament will be a FITA round followed by match play competition. There will also be a team competition.

All entries for this tournament must be submitted by the FCA. But this is not an official FCA team. Anyone can enter. The number of entries per country is not limited. Three recurve men are already committed to attend. Le tournoi Batalla de Carabobo aura lieu cette année à Valencia City en Colombie, Amerique du Sud, du 30e juin au 7e juillet.. Cet événement est un de quatre tournois du classement mondial de 2001 des Ameriques. Les tournois du classement ont utilisé par la FITA pour obtenir les points du classement mondial. La FITA publiera une liste du classement après chaque tournoi du classement.

Les archers canadien(ne)s ont été invité d'y participer. Le frais d'inscription est 60 $ USD. Les herbergements coûtent plus ou moins 30 $ USD par nuit au centre Olympique, ou 80 $ USD par nuit (double) à l'hotel du niveau quatre étoile. Prenez un avion à Maiquetia (l'aeroport Simon Bolivar). Le transport à Valencia City est aussi disponible. Il coûte 60 $ USD.

Il y aura les divisions d'équipement de la FITA seulement et les catégories des femmes et des hommes de senior, junior et cadet. Après un ronde de FITA 1440, on peut tirer les rondes éliminatoires. Il y aura aussi les rondes des équipes.

Seulement la FCA submira tous les formulaires d'inscription, mais cet événement n'est pas exclusif parce que l'équipe n'est pas "officielle" de la FCA. Le numéro d'inscriptions est illimité.
