This weekend marks the annual meeting of FCA's High Performance Committee chaired by Vice-President Arthur Nault in Montréal. These volunteers come together, at their own expense, each year in Arthur's home to assess our international programme and plan for the future. Though the majority of FCA members do not participate in target archery, the success or failure of FCA's international-level athletes, particularly recurve archers, has tremendous impact on FCA and archery in Canada. These volunteers deserve your support.

La réunion annuelle du comité de la Haute Performance de la FCA aura lieu ce weekend à Montréal convoqué par Vice-président, M. Arthur Nault. Ces bénévoles se rencontrent, à ses propres frais, chaque année chez Arthur pour évaluer notre programme international, et pour planifier. Quoique la majorité des membres de la FCA ne tirent pas les rondes du cible fixe, le succès or insuccès de nos athlètes du niveau international, particulierement des archers d'arc récourbé, a un impact incroyable de la FCA. Ces bénévoles méritent votre soutien moral.

The deadline for registering for the 2002 National Indoor Championships (FCA Regional Indoor Championships) is February 1, 2002. Please register by completing the online registration form at:

Eligibility:
Archers in good standing with a National Archery Federation, which (the N.A.F.) is a current member of COPANARCO, are eligible to shoot the Multi-sites Indoor Archery Championships of Americas. These archers can shoot at any approved site throughout the Archery Region of Americas.
Distance.
The event consists of the 18 meter FITA Indoor Round, i.e. two (2) rounds of thirty (30) arrows each, totaling sixty (60) arrows.
Classes.
In each of the two (2) equipment divisions (see below), there are five (5) age categories in each gender:
Cub - Cadet - Junior - Senior - Master.
Therefore there are a total of twenty (20) classes.

Age categories.
All age categories are based on the archer's age on January 1 of the year of the Multi-sites Indoor Championship of the Americas.
* Cub = 13 or under
* Cadet = 14 and 15
* Junior = 16 and 17 (maximum 18 years old in 2001)
* Senior = 18 to 48
* Master = 49 or over (minimum 50 years old in 2001).

Master woman compound-Femme maître arc démultiplié: Lillian Meehan, Surrey, BC. In a FITA STAR round with a score of 329 at 70m (CC), 330 at 50m (CC), 348 at 30m (CC) and a total of 1339 (CC) at the 2001 Canadian Target Archery Championship. 2001-08-12
Master woman compound- Femme maître arc démultiplié: Lillian Meehan, Surrey, BC. In a FITA STAR round with a score of 341 at 70m (CO), 338-tie at 60m (CO), 331 at 50m (CO), 352 at 30m (CO) and a total of 1362 (CO) at the 41th World Target Archery Championship 2001 in Beijing, China. 2001-09-23.
