From: "Don Lohnes" Subject: 3D Rules Translation into French

As many of you are aware the 3D Rules have been revised and are on the FCA web page. The FCA tried to have the FCA Rule Book, including the 3D Rules, translated into French. However, the FCA was not succesful in it's bid for funding for this work.

I am pleased to report that through the volunteer efforts of Ron Gingras there is now a French translation of the revised 3D Rules. The Aylmer Archers will soon have a copy on their web page. We all owe Ron a big 'Thank You' (Merci) for his efforts. It's efforts like this that keep our archery community together as we wouldn't be able to survive without our volunteers. When you see Ron, please give him the pat on the back he deserves.

ACC 3D Chairman

For those of you wishes to register for the 3D nationals in Aylmer, PQ this August, their website is complete. Rules will be posted soon.

Date: Tue, 28 Mar 2000 08:23:37 +0200

Dear archery friends

Worldsport has changed the structure of their web-site and you probably are lost to find the FITA web-site. I will try to work-out a solution in the coming days with worldsport but up until then there is the following address you can use to access the old fita web-site which we will keep updating.

As it stands now UNACCEPTABLE for FITA since by going to www.archery.org you get on a general sports page that has nothing to do with archery. Furthermore some of the key information is missing and the access to some things like world records is completely missing.

Unless we can get this fixed within one week we will be forced to change our web-provider. We will keep you updated on the progress.

Best regards

Tom Dielen

Subject: What I did to celebrate spring...

Well, Kathy, since you ask...

I bought a dozen ACE shafts and have been working on my shooting form indoors. The Alberta indoor championship shoot is next week in Lac La Biche, after which I get to go to our outdoor range to get confident on my sight markings. (Wahoo!!!) I had hoped to be going to the Arizonal Cup, but finances crashed (Wahoo-NOT).

BTW, Thanks for publishing the Cybernews. I like to keep up.

C-ya in Boucherville,

Roger Murray, Bear

Subject: Re: les nouvelles/News 00/03/24

Bonjour Kathy,

Subject: Costa Rica 10th Cup

Dear Archers

A few days ago you received our communication informing you that Costa Rica is hosting an Outdoor Fita Star Tournament. The dates for the 10th Costa Rica Cup have changed to JUNE 18 TO JUNE 25, this due that other countries had tournaments that might interfere with the CR. CUP, for this reason we are more than happy to communicate you these new dates do not interfere and will let you all enjoy our peaceful and naturalist country, while enjoying your favorite sport and be relaxed in one of our famous beaches and beach resorts (all inclusive).

Please if you have any question do not hesitate to contact me.

Best Regards

Eric Companioni
