7. Coaching Association of Canada/Association canadienne des entraineurs
a) Coaching Excellence Awards/Les Prix d'excellence aux entraineurs Since 1986 CAC has recognized the contribution of coaches to athletic achievement. CAC again invites NSF's to nominate coaches who meet the criteria of the Coaching Excellence Awards, that is, coaching an athlete or team to a medal in an Open World Championship, Olympic Games, or the Paralympic Games. (A minimum of 10 countries must have competed in the final round of competition.). Closing date for nomination to FCA Coach Committee Chairman Reed Fowlie is Wednesday, October 25, 2000.
Depuis 1986, l'ACE reconnait la contribution des entraineurs et des entraineures aux exploits des athletes. L'ACE invite la FCA a soumettre des candidatures en vue de l'attribution des Prix d'excellence aux entraineur(e)s. Les personnes mises en candidature doivent repondre au critere suivant: avoir entrainer un ou une athlete ou une equipe qui ont remporte une medaille a un championnat du monde ouvert, aux Jeux olympiques ou aux Jex paralympiques. (Au moins 10 pays doivent avoir participe a la ronde finale de la Competition.) La date de cloture des mises en candidature au president du comite des entraineurs de la FCA sera le 25 october, 2000.
