As I write this bulletin, the 27th Olympic Games opening
ceremonies are just finishing. I am listening to it live on CBC radio
here at the office. Now is A REALLY GOOD TIME to send best wishes to our
athlete, Rob Rusnov. Let him know he has support.

MTS Manitoba Games recognized the efforts of Del Quiring in August.Only 19 coaches received this award. Congratulations, Del!

3. FITA welcomes Pascal Colmaire/La FITA annouce un noveau employ
FITA is proud to annouce that Pascal Colmaire has jointed FITA as development manager. His main task in his new job will be to continue and enlarge the development work done by FITA, which is in line with the DTAC liaison function he had in the Americas. Congratulations, Pascal.

4. More results from IBO worlds/Les archers canadiens en Virginie
2 Manitobans went to the IBO worlds in West Virginia and Marcel Mangin place 15 in the same category as Larry Smith. Marcel missed the cut off by 6 points. WE plan to go back next year it was a great event.

Al and Mary Wills have moved into their new home and for anyone who has checked the FCA website recently, you will notice that Al has updated it already. Pretty impressive! His e-mail address is functioning well now, too.

Alain Gravel, High Performance Committee Vice-President, is pleased to announce that Bruce Savage and Denis Beaudet will be attending the Olympic Solidarity Seminar in Mexico this fall.
