I regret that this week must start off with some sad news. Ron Bray from Ontario passed away this week. Those involved with compound archery will remember him as Shirley Bray's dad and coach. Personally, I always enjoyed his company and his sense of humour. The announcement of his death reached FCA from Bruce Savage, VP ACC:

Hi to all

Shirley Bray called me this evening to let me know that her father Ron died this morning. Ron and Shirley have been members of The Archers of Caledon for many years and have been active in the Archery school program as well as in all aspects of the club.

Ron freely gave help to all who asked. His knowledge of the sport and equipment was as vast as his willingness to share his knowledge. His presence at the club will be missed - the sport has lost a true ambassador.

Donations made in Ron's name to the Heart and Stroke Fund.

5. 2000 3D nationals in great shape!/ Don't forget the Aylmer Archers are putting on a terrific national
3Dchampionship this summer. Today I met with the Chairman of the Organizing Committee, M. Jacques Carrier, and much of the work is done
ALREADY! They are hoping archers from all over Canada will take part. Keep tuned for their new website, ready some time in the next two months!

N'oubliez pas les championnats canadiens animalieres de 3D en Aylmer cet ete prochain. Presque tous sont prets deja! M. Jacques Carrier, president du comite organizateur de ce championnats a mentionne qu'un site electronique sera disponible dans quelques mois. Je vous donnerai tous les details!
